The Desk: T Rowe Price picks IMTC for SMA launch

By Lucy Carter, The Desk.
T Rowe Price has chosen IMTC to support its fixed income separately managed accounts (SMA) services.
Global asset manager T Rowe Price holds approximately US$1.65 trillion in assets under management, as of 31 January.
The firm has launched the new offering in response to client demand for customised, scalable SMAs and expectations that the account type will grow in popularity over the next few years, it said.
Mike Benedetto, head of SMAs at T Rowe Price, explained: “Our collaboration with IMTC is a significant step forward in meeting the evolving demands of our clients while optimising operational efficiency.”
