IMTC, the provider of fixed income investment management technology, has signed Davenport & Company and F.L.Putnam Investment Management to use IMTC as their portfolio management system. These investment managers are all incorporating new technology to scale fixed income account management and with a view to futureproofing their businesses.
“We’re thrilled to be working with these top-tier institutions to help them expand their offerings for clients,” explained Russell Feldman, CEO of IMTC. “We’re proud that our technology will enable all of them to reduce risk, increase customisation, and improve outcomes for their clients at scale.”
The firms were looking for technology to support decision making across portfolios to produce purpose-fit, compliant trades. IMTC’s cloud-native platform combines workflow with data and analytics to help managers to act across accounts with the desired speed and accuracy.
“We consistently look for opportunities to enhance our technology platform and capabilities to deliver better outcomes for our clients,” said Ryan McQuilkin, managing director of fixed income at F.L.Putnam Investment Management Co. “IMTC’s platform will help drive efficiency across all stages of the investment process allowing us to seamlessly review, allocate, and monitor our clients’ fixed income investments in a single place.”
Kevin Hopkins, first vice president of investments at Davenport, said “Our firm is prepping for the future, and we see IMTC’s solution as an evolving product that will continue to innovate over time.” He added, “the functionality is so much deeper than our previous system and it’s very intuitive. We expect it to help us streamline our trading and improve our portfolio management efficiency so we can focus more of our time on higher-level research.”
