Alex Struc

Alex Struc is the founder and CEO of GOALSFIRST – a specialist fixed income firm with a disruptive investment approach and the vision of mobilizing finance for change.  He is a fixed income investor and a portfolio manager with deep credit expertise. 

For nearly 15 years he managed PIMCO’s leveraged loans, corporate debt and the firmwide exposure to financials, including the world largest capital securities fund, making the FN’s 40 under 40 asset managers list in 2014. 

Alex is also known as an innovator in impact investing – he led the industry-wide efforts on engagement as the Chair of the inaugural PRI Bondholder Engagement Committee in 2017. Having founded and led PIMCO’s first dedicated ESG investment platform, he originated large and liquid bonds linked to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Tim Coffin

Tim is director of sustainability and a member of the consultant relations team at Breckinridge Capital Advisors. Tim has helped lead the introduction of Breckinridge’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) capabilities to clients. He has 30 years of fixed income experience. Prior to Breckinridge, Tim was a vice president at Fidelity Investments where he launched and managed the firm’s municipal finance group within Fidelity Capital Markets.

Tim speaks regularly at conferences on topics related to sustainable investing and finance. He is a member of the advisory committee for the Brookings Institute’s Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy Annual Municipal Finance Conference. He is on the advisory board for the Journal of Impact and ESG Investing, and a member of the steering committee of the Intentional Endowment Network.

Tim serves on the governing board for Ridley College in Ontario, Canada, and is the President of Ridley’s U.S. Scholarship Foundation.

Ksenia Koban

Ksenia Koban is an SVP and Municipal Strategist at Payden & Rygel. She is responsible for credit research and assists in developing the firm’s views and strategies with regard to municipal sector and market positioning. She is also Co-Chair of the ESG Committee which guides the firm’s broader strategy for integration of ESG factors and impact investing approaches.

Prior, Koban was a credit risk analyst on a large portfolio of distressed municipal debt held by an investment bank. Her career in public finance began as a budget and policy analyst in New York City government.

Ksenia Koban has an MPA in Public Finance from New York University and a BA in International Relations from University of California, San Diego.

Koban is an active industry participant and frequent speaker on all topics related to public finance, ESG integration and impact investing. Her affiliations include the PRI, NFMA, Women in Public Finance, and Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy.

Eric Glass

Eric Glass is a Senior Portfolio Manager of Fixed Income Impact Strategies and lead of the Municipal Impact Investment Policy Group. He has been at AllianceBernstein as a research analyst, trader and portfolio manager.

Before a career in capital markets, Eric spent several years helping to manage a transitional homeless shelter in Essex County, New Jersey.
