Kevin has 20+ years in the fixed income capital markets. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the OTC and electronic fixed income markets, with a comprehensive understanding of global market structure across all asset classes. Kevin began his 23-year career in mortgage bonds, trading CMO’s, TBA’s and specified pools at Prudential Securities and Barclays. His transition into fixed income electronic trading began 16 years ago with TradingEdge (1999), which was acquired by MarketAxess in 2000. He moved to the NYSE in 2008, and from 2010-2015 he was head of the fixed income exchange NYSE Bonds where he was responsible for overall strategy, product development, marketing, and sales.
Anisha Kothapa Intelligence Analyst, CB Insights
Anisha is an intelligence analyst at CB Insights covering trends in fintech, specifically alternative lending and wealth tech. Prior to joining CB Insights, she worked at U.S. Bancorp as a corporate banking analyst focusing on credit research and business development for a portfolio of large corporate clients. She also worked at a fintech startup in London called Code Investing as a credit analyst specializing in SME lending. Anisha received her Bachelor’s in Environmental Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in Finance from London Business School.
Christopher Fenske Head of Fixed Income Research for the Americas, IHS Markit
Mr. Fenske is Head of Fixed Income Research for the Americas at IHS Markit; he focuses on combining the firm's and other alternative datasets with market data to provide insight into the liquidity and performance of fixed income investments. His research has been cited in Barron's and he frequently presents at investment forums on the topic of assimilating alternative data into the securitized, municipal, and corporate bond investment processes. Prior he was SVP at Halcyon Asset Management, where he was a senior trader and research analyst focused on investments in non-agency RMBS, CLO, auto, synthetic indices, and other asset-backed securities for a $900 million distressed securitized products fund. He began his career at Credit Suisse as a research analyst on the #1 ranked mortgage-related ABS research team by Institutional Investor and later became a trader of distressed MBS and credit default swaps on ABS. Mr. Fenske holds a BS in Biochemistry from Binghamton University.
Steve Winterstein Co-Head of Municipal Fixed Income, MarketAxess
Stephen Winterstein joined MarketAxess in 2019 as the Co-Head of Municipal Fixed Income. In this role, Mr. Winterstein is responsible for municipal dealer and institutional client sales and also contributes to both product development and technological enhancements for municipal bond trading at MarketAxess. Mr. Winterstein has over thirty years in a variety of leadership positions on the municipal fixed income buy-side, including group head, portfolio management, credit and quantitative research, and strategy. Prior to joining MarketAxess, he was managing director and head of municipal strategy and research at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., and managing director and head of municipal fixed income at PNC Capital Advisors, LLC. Mr. Winterstein received a B.A. in Economics from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Lehigh University.
